For those who know me probably also know that I am a huge sucker for outer space themes--primarily, involving lights and stars. Last year, one of the graduating designers compared my works to an artist by the name of Chuck Anderson. I had never heard of the artist prior to her mentioning the designer's name. When I finally "Googled" the artist, I first thought that my designs could never even compare to that of Chuck Anderson's. While I browsed through his portfolio, I immediately fell in love with his experimentations with color gradients, lights, and star particles. Many of the landscapes that he designs have a certain Surrealist quality to them that links both our world with space. I am particularly drawn to those pieces because, in my opinion, they offer optimistic ideals about the future. One of my favorite quotes of all time is this: "if space is truly infinite, then there are infinite possibilities."
If you are finished catching up with all of your blogs, you should definitely check out Chuck Anderson's site: http://www.nopattern.com/about/ He has some really gorgeous works!
