Currently, I am beginning to explore ideas for the installation aspect of my project. While I know that I would like for the installation to have some sort of three dimensional text, I came across this example of graphic design installation and I feel that this sort of set up could be beneficial for my project. This structure appears to be made from card board, and could be an interesting platform to not only present 3-d text with, but the way it is structured could also work for the poster element, and possibly even to display the t-shirt and supplementary elements that I plan to incorporate for the later steps of my design narrative.
This seems that with careful planning and the correct measurements, a pretty easy set up! I would not include the reindeer, and the overall shape of the example seems to be a mountain, another element that most likely would not be incorporated with my installation. I do like how to the left hand side there is a part that moves outward and seems to serve as a table. The second image is a similar example of three dimensional installation, but with more color! I like how the installation incorporates both wall and floor space. I think the placement of the installation using both wall and a small amount of floor space could be intriguing if applied in an appropriate manner!
