Brainless Tales

http://www.brainlesstales.com/

I found this website that features a daily "comic" similar to the one above. I love the style that these comics are done in, very simple illustration and short witty comments to go along with each drawing. The artist explains that Brainless Tales all began as a way for him to showcase his illustration skills and put them to use in some way. It goes to show that it is important to have an outlet for all your work and put it to use. Even if it is just a silly comic a day it is important to always keep going with what you do and put it out there for people to see. As a young designer I find I'm constantly trying to find my niche. I also hear other young designers struggling with the fact that they have all this work and don't know what to do with it. I think it is important, especially in this phase of our careers to be experimenting with everything we do and trying new outlets to showcase our work. If we get into the habit now of constantly producing and showing work then finding our style or niche will come much quicker than if we just wait for something to happen.

  2. I love this, especially how the web design style matches up so well with the postings themselves.

  3. I really like that he's taking his humor and putting it into his work. Instead of just being another illustrator, he puts some personality behind his work which I think will separate him from everyone else.
